Dr. Rathan Shetty

Dr. Rathan Shetty is a senior consultant in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology associated with Fortis Vashi, Navi Mumbai. His specialist interests include cancers of the oral cavity, throat, larynx, hypopharynx, thyroid, salivary glands and skull base. He completed his MS at K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, received fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgery at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru, and completed MCh training in Head and Neck Surgery at Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai. His clinical practice includes complex and recurrent cancer surgery, thyroid and salivary gland procedures, endoscopic and robotic surgery, transoral laser procedures, and efforts to preserve speech, swallowing and other important functions. He has also worked in academic oncology at Tata Memorial Centre and Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology and contributes to clinical research and surgical education.
