1. Who We Are

CareLinky (“we”, “us”) operates carelinky.com from Palanpur, Gujarat, India.

2. What CareLinky Does Not Do

It is easier to start here, because it rules out most of the data a health platform would normally hold:

• We do not offer patient accounts. You can search, read profiles and contact a doctor without registering.
• We do not book appointments. Contact buttons open a phone call or a WhatsApp chat with the clinic directly, and the clinic handles everything from there.
• We do not take payments from patients and never see your card, UPI or bank details. Consultation fees shown on a profile are set by the doctor and paid to the clinic. (Doctors may pay us separately for a promoted homepage slot — see section 6.)
• We do not hold medical records, prescriptions, test results or any other health information about you.
• We do not sell or rent information to anyone. We run no advertising networks and no advertising pixels on the site, and nothing you do here is used to target ads at you. We use Google Analytics only to count and understand traffic — see sections 6 and 7.

3. Information We Collect

a. When you browse. We record one visit entry per browsing session so we can measure traffic and spot abuse. It holds your IP address, your browser, operating system, device type and full browser identification string, the page you arrived from, the first and most recent page you opened and how many pages you viewed, and an approximate location that we look up from your IP address using a third-party IP location service — country, region, city, postal code, city-level coordinates, time zone and internet provider. That lookup is accurate only to roughly the city you are in, never to an address. The entry does not hold your name, and we do not use it to identify you personally.

b. What people search for. Search terms, profile views and taps on a call or WhatsApp button are stored as daily totals — for example “12 people viewed this profile today”. These counts are not linked to you or to your visit entry.

c. What you type into a form. We only hold what you choose to send us. Along with every form below we also store the IP address it was sent from, purely to block spam and abuse:

• Doctor review: your name, rating, review text, the clinic you visited and optionally the treatment, plus your email address and phone number.
• Contact form: your name, email, phone, city, the topic and your message.
• Request a city: your name, email, phone, the city you would like us to cover, whether you are asking as a patient or a doctor, and any message you add.
• Claim a doctor profile: your name, contact details, qualification, council registration number and year, experience, clinic name and address, and the document you upload to prove the profile is yours.
• Doctor registration: name, email, phone and WhatsApp number, password, speciality, city, clinic name and address, and council registration number. Once listed, doctors can add qualifications, fees, photos, clinic details and certificates from their dashboard.

4. How We Use It

We use this information to run the directory and show accurate listings; to publish moderated reviews; to reply to your enquiry, city request or profile claim; to check the credentials of doctors who apply to be listed; to understand which specialities and cities people are looking for so we can expand sensibly; and to detect spam, fake reviews and other abuse.

We do not use your information for any automated decision that affects you, and we do not build advertising profiles.

5. What Becomes Public

An approved review appears on the doctor's profile showing your name, rating, review text, date and the treatment or clinic tag. The email address, phone number and IP address submitted with a review are never published — we keep them only to check the review is genuine and to reach you if there is a query.

A doctor's listing is public by design: name, photo, qualifications, registration details, speciality, clinic addresses, fees and clinic contact numbers. Many listings are created by our team; once a doctor registers or claims their profile, they can edit it and choose which of these details are shown from their dashboard.

Enquiries and city requests are never published.

6. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the services needed to run the site, and only as far as each one needs:

• An IP location service — receives a visitor's IP address and returns an approximate location.
• Google Analytics — receives the pages you view, the page you came from, your browser, device and approximate location, so we can see how the site is used. We do not send it your name, contact details or anything you type into a form, and we do not use it for advertising.
• Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile — run the spam checks on our forms and receive the technical signals those checks need.
• Our hosting and email providers — store the site's data and deliver the emails we send.

We may also disclose information where the law, a court or a regulator requires it, or where it is necessary to investigate fraud or a threat to someone's safety.

Promoted homepage slots. A doctor can pay to have their profile shown in one of the featured slots on our homepage for a set period. This is an arrangement between us and that doctor: it uses only the listing details they have already published, it involves no information about you, and it never changes a doctor's star rating or where they appear in search results.

7. Cookies

We use the cookies the site needs to work, plus analytics cookies:

• A session cookie that keeps a form or a logged-in doctor dashboard working.
• A security token cookie that protects forms against cross-site request forgery.
• A Google reCAPTCHA cookie. The spam check runs on every page so that it can tell a person from a bot by the time you reach a form, which means Google sets its own cookie while you browse. Google uses it for that check and for its own security and fraud purposes; it is not used to show you advertising on our site.
• Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_*). They let us count visits and tell a returning visitor from a new one, so we can see which pages are useful. They are not needed for the site to work.

We set no advertising cookies and do not use analytics data to show you ads.

Blocking the session, security or reCAPTCHA cookies in your browser will stop forms and doctor logins from working, but browsing and searching will still function. Blocking the Google Analytics cookies has no effect on how the site works.

8. How Long We Keep It

Published reviews and doctor listings stay up while the listing is live. Enquiries, city requests and profile claims are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards as a record. Visit entries and daily view counts are kept for traffic reporting and are deleted or reduced to anonymous totals once they are no longer useful.

If a doctor's listing is removed, we delete or unpublish the profile along with the documents uploaded for it.

9. Your Choices

• Ask us to remove a review you wrote or an enquiry you sent, by emailing contact@carelinky.com.
• Correct your listing — doctors can edit their own profile from the dashboard at any time, or ask us to take the listing down entirely.
• Ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

To help us act on a request quickly, tell us which doctor's profile or which email address it relates to.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, doctor passwords are stored hashed and never in readable form, uploaded documents are kept off public listing pages, and access to the admin panel is restricted and logged. No system is perfectly secure, so if you think something has gone wrong with an account or a listing, tell us at contact@carelinky.com and we will look into it.

11. Children

CareLinky is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information through one of our forms, email us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
