Dr. Shakti Bhan Khanna

Dr. Shakti Bhan Khanna is a senior consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi. She has more than 55 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology and previously served as faculty at Government Medical College, Srinagar, for approximately 30 years. Her clinical interests include gynaecological oncology, gynaecological endocrinology, infertility, high-risk pregnancies and pelvic reconstructive surgery. She has served as a postgraduate teacher since 1985 and developed the Khanna's Sling surgical technique for vault prolapse. Her recognitions include a Millennium Fellowship from the Indian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, fellowship of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, and fellowship of the International Academy of Medical Sciences.
