Dr. Veena Kalra

Dr. Veena Kalra is an experienced Paediatric Neurologist associated with Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi. She has over 36 years of professional experience and previously served as Professor and Head of Pediatrics at AIIMS for eight years. Her clinical and research interests include childhood epilepsy, neurocysticercosis, learning disabilities, neurometabolic and neurogenetic disorders, and lead poisoning. She has contributed to paediatric neurology education and helped establish a three-year DM course in Paediatric Neurology at AIIMS. Her professional achievements have received recognition from three Presidents of India, and she has received academic medals and research recognition. She has also contributed to national healthcare programmes and served as an expert consultant to several medical and scientific organisations.
