About Dr. Chetan P. Shah
Dr. Chetan P. Shah is a Mumbai-based interventional cardiologist who has been practising since 2000. He completed postgraduate and super-speciality training in medicine and cardiology, followed by fellowships in cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmias in the United States and Canada, and interventional cardiology training in Australia. He worked as a junior consultant in interventional cardiology and arrhythmias at Royal Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Australia from 1999 to 2000. His clinical work includes complex coronary interventions and the management of cardiac rhythm disorders. Lilavati Hospital reports that he has performed more than 5,000 angioplasties. He has served as Vice President of the Indian College of Cardiology and as a Visiting Professor of Cardiology at Michigan State University. He received the National Award for Senior Cardiologist of the Year in 2012 and has authored more than 25 first-author publications in international journals.
