Dr. Pooja Deshmukkh

Dr. Pooja Deshmukkh is an Additional Director in the Department of Ophthalmology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. She completed her MBBS and MS in Ophthalmology and was a gold medallist in her MS programme at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College and Research Centre. She received specialised training in phacoemulsification at Mahatme Eye Institute, Nagpur, and LASIK training at DEI, Mumbai. She also completed a fellowship in oculoplasty, ocular oncology and oculofacial aesthetics at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, and holds a fellowship from the International Council of Ophthalmology. Her clinical interests include cataract surgery, LASIK, eyelid and orbital surgery, ptosis correction, ocular oncology and oculofacial aesthetics. She previously worked as an Assistant Professor and anterior segment surgeon at IGGMCH and Mayo Hospital, Nagpur.
