Dr. Shashank Joshi

Dr. (Prof.) Shashank R. Joshi is a Consultant in the Department of Endocrinology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. He has more than 25 years of experience in endocrinology and diabetology. His clinical and research interests include diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, growth and other endocrine conditions. He has served as faculty in medicine at Grant Medical College and Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals and previously as faculty in endocrinology at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital. He has held visiting-faculty positions at national and international universities and has an extensive academic portfolio, with more than 800 research publications reported in his hospital biography. He has served in editorial roles at medical journals and contributed to the International Diabetes Federation Atlas 2017. He received the Padma Shri in 2014 and was named International Clinician of the Year by the American College of Endocrinology in 2012.
